KOALATYAUSTRALIA

In-building distributed antenna system

Coverage taken from a rooftop donor link and distributed through the building on one riser, so below-grade floors and lift shafts are served as well as the floor plates.

RFI's DAS range runs from a single-antenna repeater to a full in-building distribution. The riser here is ANDREW HELIAX, the line Koalaty pairs with RFI active equipment, and the distributed antennas are RFI low-PIM dipoles.

Where this applies

  • 01Buildings where the serving site is in range of the roof but the structure blocks the signal internally.
  • 02Below-grade floors and car parks with no path to the outside, served entirely from the riser.
  • 03Lift shafts, where a stalled car must be reachable from the fire control room.
  • 04Base build or retrofit, with the riser sized for the services the owner expects to add later.
